In this episode, Jalisa shares her marriage and divorce story. She got married to her college sweetheart/best friend only to get divorced after only 4 years. Her story is one of healing from abuse, betrayal and finding purpose in the midst of pain.

Jalisa Hardy is a single mom of 3 young kids, a licensed minister, a self published author and a host of other things. She suffered early childhood abuse and molestation which helped her break generational curse in her family. In college, she met her ex husband who was also her best friend at the time, even though the relationship started out well, she began to spot red flags & abusive traits weeks before the marriage. She got married hoping that things will get better but rather it got worse. The abusive behavior continued both physically and in other areas of their marriage. She decided to leave the marriage after her ex began to physically harm their first son and use him as a scape goat. Working with a therapist, she was able to consciously decouple and began the journey of separation, divorce and custody battle. She says her Faith played a huge role in her life during these tough times in her life. Jalisa shares very useful advice on relationship, dating, how to spot red flags easily and how to heal after a break up/heartbreak. As a coach, she works with women who are hurting find purpose and heal completely. She also has a YouTube channel and where she helps people grow their businesses and tips to succeed.
