BOSSES HAVE NO IDEA WHAT WE DO ON A DAILY BASIS _ A survey of employees finds bosses have no idea what their staff are up to. One in three believe their managers are totally oblivious about the jobs they perform daily.
This could be good and bad. Good in the sense that you are not micromanaged, but bad in two regards. One, If they try to direct your to do something, they have no idea what you may already be knee deep in. Two, when it comes to reviews and promotions, if they have no idea what you’ve accomplished, how can they accurately rate you?
DELTA AIRLINES FLIGHT EXPERIENCES TERRIFYING CABIN PRESSURE ISSUE _ A recent Delta Air Lines flight from Salt Lake City to Portland encountered a severe cabin pressure malfunction shortly after takeoff. Passengers reported experiencing intense pain, including bloody noses and burst eardrums. One passenger described her ear feeling like it was “popping and bubbling.” The pilots opted to descend and and return to Salt Lake International Airport. Upon landing, ten individuals were treated or evaluated by paramedics, with one passenger diagnosed with a ruptured eardrum. This is frightening to me… We’ve been lucky in our flying experience, some bad turbulence at times, but never anything like this and rarely have we had major flying issues.
