Penn State athletic director Pat Kraft made the stunning move on Sunday, Oct 12 to fire long-time head coach James Franklin from his position. On Monday, Kraft spoke to the media about the decision, outlining his reasons, what comes next, and how Penn State can recover from its current state. After that, interim head coach Terry Smith spoke to reporters for about 25 minutes about the team's state. Today on the BWI Live show, we'll discuss the critical moments from yesterday's events. We'll also recap the game that led to the decision, Penn State's 22-21 loss to Northwestern on Homecoming.
