Hello Everyone! In Journal week 4 the topic is read children book and watch cartoon movie.


CHILDREN BOOK
• Story title : The Giving Tree
• Summary of the Story :
A tall leafy tree stood on a hill warmed by the sunshine. This tree loved a little boy. Time passed by and soon, the little boy turned into a young man. The young man wanted to earn money. So, the tree suggested him to sell its fruits. Then, one day, he was back. The boy wanted to have a house so the tree suggested to build a house from its branches. All the tree had left was a stump. The tree saw that the boy had grown old. The tree offered its stump to him. The boy realized that all his life he had come to the tree only when he desired something. He thanked the tree from the bottom of his heart.


CARTOON MOVIE
✓ Movie Title : Burn Out – made by Cecile Carre
✓ Movie synopsis :
A “space mechanic” has crash landed on a desert planet. While in despair, a girl appears out of nowhere. Following the child into a tunnel in the depths of the planet, she discovers a cave full of familiar objects, reminding her the dreams she left behind. Inside the cave, she finds Kristen's battery that was used to power her damaged rocket. Finally, she was able to return to her home planet.


• My Experience :
My experience after practicing sentences on the new vocabulary in the children book and cartoon movie is very interesting. I got some new vocabulary that I can translate and practice. In my opinion, the easiest way to practice and memorize vocabulary is through a book or movie. Moreover, my hobbies are reading novels and watching movies. Reading or watching in English makes me interested and more excited to apply it in everyday life.
