Dr. Robert Strang, Nova Scotia's chief medical officer of health, provides #COVID19NS update for Friday, July 31, 2020.


Nova Scotia has two active cases of COVID-19. Two new cases were identified Thursday.


The new cases are in the Central Zone and are Nova Scotians who travelled outside Canada. The people have been in self-isolation since returning to the province, as required.


The QEII microbiology lab completed 456 NS tests July 30. NS has 63,647 negative test results, 1,069 positive cases and 64 deaths and 1,003 resolved cases. https://novascotia.ca/coronavirus/data/
