Dr. Strang provides a #COVID19NS update today, June 2, 2020.
No new cases of #COVID19 were identified yesterday, when the lab completed 532 Nova Scotia tests. Nova Scotia has 1,057 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
There is one licensed long-term care home in Nova Scotia with active cases of COVID-19. Northwood in Halifax currently has three residents and two staff active cases.
Nova Scotia has 42,861 negative test results, 1,057 positives, 60 deaths and 992 people have recovered from COVID-19. Five individuals are in hospital, two of those in ICU. Data is updated daily at https://novascotia.ca/coronavirus/data.
