Description

The Partition of India, which occurred on 14-15 August 1947, divided British India into two independent dominions: India and Pakistan. This event was driven by the two-nation theory, which argued that Muslims and Hindus were distinct and irreconcilable communities requiring separate states. The partition led to a massive displacement of between 10 and 20 million people and widespread sectarian violence.

This track by Gulab Sidhu is a love song in which he is describing that he has a connection to someone from before the partition of 1947.
