This guided meditation was originally released in 2020 and has helped thousands of listeners relax away stressful and anxious thoughts.** This mindful practice allows you to step back from your thoughts and view them as mental events passing through your mind rather than absolute truths. Cognitive defusion, or defusion, is “the ability to separate from your thoughts and let them come and go, instead of getting caught up in them or allowing them to dictate what you do.” (Harris, 2009, p.6). The goal of this meditation is to develop the ability to let go of problematic thoughts through practicing cognitive defusion.
