Slam the Gavel welcomes Camila Gaskey to the podcast. Camila was the primary parent for her 4-year-old son UNTIL December 2023, when the courts unjustly took him from her care and placed him with his jobless father.
The court accused Camila of being a flight risk, alleging that she would flee to Mexico to live with her father, who ACTUALLY RESIDES in Oregon. Despite the lack of evidence, the court ruled against Camila, STRIPPING HER OF HER PARENTAL RIGHTS.
Since then, Camila has only been allowed video visitations and was issued a DVRO for speaking out online and protesting with others at the courthouse. As a mother, Camila states, "I will do whatever it takes to remain a part of my son’s life. I'm not giving up."
