Ro: Toamna acoperise pădurea Hoia-Baciu cu nuanțe de portocaliu și auriu.
En: Autumn had covered the Hoia-Baciu forest with shades of orange and gold.

Ro: Aerul rece pătrundea până la oase, iar frunzele cădeau leneș pe aleile înguste.
En: The cold air seeped to the bones, and leaves lazily fell on the narrow paths.

Ro: La marginea pădurii, un târg vesel își deschidea porțile.
En: At the edge of the forest, a merry fair was opening its gates.

Ro: Tarabe cu fructe de toamnă, meșteșuguri locale și amulete ciudate atrăgeau vizitatorii.
En: Stalls with autumn fruits, local crafts, and strange amulets attracted visitors.

Ro: Pe una dintre aceste alei îl întâlnești pe Mihai, student și sceptic declarat.
En: On one of these paths, you meet Mihai, a student and self-proclaimed skeptic.

Ro: "Mihai, hai să vedem ce e în târg," îi spuse Elena, o tânără curioasă și îndrăzneață.
En: "Mihai, let's see what's at the fair," said Elena, a curious and daring young woman.

Ro: Alături de ei se afla Irina, localnică și cunoscătoare a legendelor.
En: With them was Irina, a local familiar with the legends.

Ro: "Pădurea asta are povestea ei," zise Irina cu un ton plin de mister.
En: "This forest has its own story," said Irina with a tone full of mystery.

Ro: "E bine să fii precaut.
En: "It's good to be cautious."

Ro: "Mihai zâmbi ironic.
En: Mihai smiled ironically.

Ro: "Eu nu cred în superstiții.
En: "I don't believe in superstitions.

Ro: Sunt doar basme.
En: They're just fairy tales."

Ro: "Elena, totuși, era intrigată.
En: Elena, however, was intrigued.

Ro: "Hai să mergem mai aproape," insistă ea, privind în direcția pădurii.
En: "Let's get closer," she insisted, looking towards the forest.

Ro: Împreună, trio-ul se îndreptă spre marginea târgului.
En: Together, the trio headed towards the edge of the fair.

Ro: Atmosfera era electrizantă, cu murmure și râsete amestecându-se în aerul de toamnă.
En: The atmosphere was electrifying, with whispers and laughter mixing in the autumn air.

Ro: Irina adăugă: "Legenda spune că pădurea își joacă farmecele mai tare de Halloween.
En: Irina added, "The legend says the forest works its magic strongest around Halloween."

Ro: " Mihai oftă.
En: Mihai sighed.

Ro: "O să dovedesc că nu e nimic aici.
En: "I'll prove there's nothing here."

Ro: "Pe măsură ce se afundau mai mult în adâncurile târgului, lucrurile deveneau ciudate.
En: As they delved deeper into the fair, things became strange.

Ro: Unele tarabe păreau să dispară în ceață, un sunet slab de clopote se auzea în aer.
En: Some stalls seemed to vanish into mist, a faint sound of bells was heard in the air.

Ro: Un vânt ciudat începu să sufle, intunecând cerul.
En: A strange wind began to blow, darkening the sky.

Ro: Elena își strânse brațele în jurul corpului.
En: Elena wrapped her arms around herself.

Ro: "Poate ar trebui să ne întoarcem," zise ea cu ochii mari de teamă.
En: "Maybe we should turn back," she said with wide eyes full of fear.

Ro: Mihai, încă hotărât, spuse: "Doar o legendă, nimic mai mult.
En: Mihai, still determined, said, "Just a legend, nothing more."

Ro: " Dar chiar în acel moment, o umbră trecu rapid printre copaci, înfricoșătoare și rapidă.
En: But at that very moment, a shadow swiftly passed among the trees, frightening and quick.

Ro: Scena îi lăsă pe toți fără cuvinte.
En: The scene left them all speechless.

Ro: "Vedeți?
En: "See?

Ro: Chiar și rațiunea devine vicleană aici," zise Irina, făcând un pas înapoi.
En: Even reason becomes cunning here," said Irina, taking a step back.

Ro: Mihai simți pentru prima dată un fior de neîncredere și se uită la Elena, văzând teamă dar și fascinație în ochii ei.
En: Mihai felt for the first time a chill of distrust and looked at Elena, seeing fear but also fascination in her eyes.

Ro: "Poate că am judecat greșit," admită Mihai în sfârșit.
En: "Maybe I misjudged," Mihai finally admitted.

Ro: "Ar trebui să ne întoarcem.
En: "We should head back."

Ro: " Pe drumul lor înapoi, atmosfera straniu se disipează, iar sunetele târgului redeveniseră normale.
En: On their way back, the strange atmosphere dissipated, and the sounds of the fair returned to normal.

Ro: "Am învățat să nu mai judec lucrurile doar dintr-o perspectivă," îi șopti Mihai Elenei.
En: "I've learned not to judge things only from one perspective," Mihai whispered to Elena.

Ro: "O experiență unică, nu-i așa?
En: "A unique experience, isn't it?"

Ro: " zâmbi Elena.
En: smiled Elena.

Ro: Experimentaseră împreună ceva inexplicabil.
En: They had experienced something unexplainable together.

Ro: Experiența îi unise și deschisese mintea lui Mihai la lucruri noi, lărgindu-i perspectivele.
En: The experience had united them and opened Mihai's mind to new things, broadening his perspectives.

Ro: Și astfel, în acea seară de toamnă, trio-ul părăsise târgul de la marginea pădurii Hoia-Baciu, cu un respect nou față de misterele ce nu pot fi explicate doar prin rațiune, și cu o prietenie și mai puternică.
En: And so, on that autumn evening, the trio left the fair at the edge of the Hoia-Baciu forest, with a newfound respect for mysteries that cannot be explained by reason alone, and with an even stronger friendship.
