Lester Kiewit speaks to Romero Hector about his fight for justice for his naval officer wife, Lieutenant Commander Gillian Hector, who died during an exercise off Kommetjie two years ago. Three officers drowned on the day, after being swept off the deck of a submarine. A report shows negligence and incompetence are to blame, and that conditions were so poor, the operation should have been called off. Romero himself is also an officer in the navy.
