We all have our favorite programs. In addition to shows like Supernatural (love those boys) and CSI, I found myself quite attached to the character portrayed on Dexter. What a novel idea, I thought, a serial killer who preyed not on defenseless women, but on other predators. Such a unique concept.
Except, it wasn’t. The idea for Dexter had already been explored - and in depth - by a real-life killer named Pedro Rodrigues Filho whose chosen victims were rapists and killers.
Just the kind of people we all want to suffer a little more than the law allows.
