Ralph Sampson III: University of Minnesota Great & Pro
Description
We have a University of Minnesota great in the house! Ralph Sampson III joins us for an episode we know you will love. Our local listeners who supported our Reno Bighorns back in the day especially!
Ralph Sampson III is the son of the Hall of Fame player Ralph Sampson. He carved out an amazing high school career making a name for himself quickly. He went on to have a great career at University of Minnesota where he joined Kevin McHale and Mychal Thompson as one of the few players to collect more than 1,000 points, 500 rebounds and 200 blocks in their college careers. He went on to have a successful career overseas and also in the G-League. Ralph shares great stories about his father, high school hoops scene in GA, recruitment, University of Minnesota, Coach Tubby Smith, Dexter Pittman, Enes Kanter, LeBron, experiences overseas, coaching/training and MUCH more!
We are forever grateful for Ralph Sampson III for being so generous with his time. The journey is inspiring and what he has continued to do with coaching/training after his playing career is something we truly admire. So many great stories shared in this episode that you do not want to miss!
Thank you Ralph Sampson III!
