Rose Marcario, former Patagonia CEO and Rivian board member, is stepping down to focus on other commitments. Her departure reduces Rivians board from eight to seven members. Marcario joined Rivian in 2021, with Rivians CEO expressing a desire for the company to become the Patagonia of EVs. Despite leaving the board, Marcario will continue as chair of the Rivian Foundations board of trustees.
