We continue praying in thanksgiving, trusting that God is already answering our prayers for peace in the world, freedom from addictions, healing for those in recovery, and the intentions of everyone listening.

The reflection of today is the healing power of forgiveness.

Forgiveness is one of the hardest things we are called to do. It doesn’t always happen quickly. It doesn’t always feel easy. And it doesn’t mean forgetting what happened.

Forgiveness is choosing to let go of the weight that’s been on your heart. It’s choosing peace over bitterness, freedom over resentment. Sometimes the person we need to forgive is someone else…and sometimes the person we need to forgive is ourselves.

Forgiveness doesn’t say “what happened was okay.” It says, “I’m not carrying this anymore.” God meets us in that moment. He heals slowly, gently, step by step, but He heals.

Today we ask for the grace to forgive where we can, to begin where we are, and to let God soften what still hurts.

Our prayer today is: “Lord, teach my heart to forgive, and bring healing wherever there is pain.”

Blessed Mother, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, today we pray for everyone who is struggling to forgive, everyone holding onto pain, and everyone who desires freedom of heart.
