This is an audio recording of what is Chapter One of the non-fiction work I am writing, tentatively titled, "Murmuration." The term "murmuration" refers to the behavior of birds, specifically, starlings, who change direction as a flock, all at once, without any individual leader. The opening chapter takes place in the setting of a Cacao Ceremony in a teepee warmed by firelight that I attended on the New Moon hosted by Sacred Heart Cacao at Blue River Forest Sanctuary in the Kansas City area.

I hope you will take the time to enjoy, perhaps with your headphones before bed. The words, as is my style, are poetic, and I hope you enjoy the meditative quality of the spoken words.
