Description

A few days after Hae’s body is found, the detectives get a lead that opens the case up for them. They find Jay at work late one night and bring him down to Homicide. At first, he insists he doesn’t know anything about the murder. But eventually he comes clean. He tells them what happened on January 13th. A few weeks later, he’s back at Homicide and his story has changed. In some ways, these changes are small and understandable. In other ways, they’re big and confounding.

Jay was clearly jealous of the golden boy, Anand. He was embraced by his classmates, extremely close to his girlfriend, and accepted by her parents. Jay had been seething with envy. The tipping point- the stuffed reindeer. The fact that Anand was thoughtful enough to buy a gift for Jay's girlfriend, was the final straw. The fact that Anand he had to encorage Jay to be a thoughtful boyfriend was a huge slap in the face to Jay's ego. Jay clearly had one. This was revealed in the confessional. He bragged about how his affiliates. The cops seemed to thing he was a low petty crime dude. Not even kn the radar. I thought that realization was actually funny. This is a huge indicator that Jay was delusional. It is clearly a set up. The cops fed jnto it. Most likely because it was an easy case to close. The golden boy was the target. The rolls have been reversed. Now Jay is honorable for seeking out the police, telling the "truth" even though his truth was contradictory sever times...he helpi

Jay is so guilty also this Jen person is kind of dodgy too. So many people who could be guilty where are they only focussing on the boyfriends????? like if your listening after Jan 2020

I agree that Jay knows too much for someone who is innocent, however what's his motive? who pissed him off?

I think Jay did it and got the guy convicted. She is stupid. so stupid.

Jay sounds really guilty. Sounds really frantic and calls someone CLOSE to him and wipes down shovels and throws away his clothes. Who would call an acquaintance to help bury a body. That's something you take to the your grave. And it doesn't seem like the police did the best job here.

I think because Jay knows so much about what happened to this girl, where her car is, and hid the shovels Jay is completely guilty. The police get so caught up with this theory that a boyfriend must have done it that they turn their attention away from the only person with information about the crime. If Adnan was guilty of this crime wouldn't he have created an actual alibi instead of just saying I don't know. Most criminals are going to create a story to keep themselves out of trouble and that's exactly what Jay did.

There is so many inconsistencies with jay and Jenns story. Jenn knows something and jay told her and she’s not saying anything

It's looking like the police have their man in Adnan and case closed. But I'm certain Jay is the true killer....

Jenn said Jay and Adnan were causal acquaintance. I don't think you talk about murder with just a casual friend with such specific details. Its suspicious.

I want the phone that adnon got caught with in prison. I want to know what kind of phone was it, what year did he get caught with the phone, and where is it? I want to know what was on it , who did he call ,how long did he have it for, where did he get it from.

Also it seems a little suspicious to me that Jay would not want a attorney present during the interview. If you are a suspect or involved in a murder some way or another you know dam well you're going to want an attorney present.
