Set Yourself Up for Less Stress While Working

After work 30 min “wind-down”
Taking time after work to set up your to-dos for the next days, clean up your office, last email responses etc
Have something to look forward to after work that YOU want to do
Read a book, do some self-care, go out with friends, whatever it is - just have something that takes your focus that is important/feels good to you
Set an “off-time” and stick to it
Commit to a time where you “clock out” at the end of the day, or when you take breaks during the day, don’t be working on the side.
Physical activity
Whether you go for a walk or do your workout then, it can help calm you down after work
Talk to a friend or family member, make plans
Whether you call or facetime a friend or go hangout with a family member, doing something that takes you out of work mode will help you check out
Make lists
It feels so good to have all your to-do’s listed out and cross them off when they’re accompished. You will feel very productive and it’s good for your mindset.
