Loved it! Lee St. John has done it again!
Loved it! Lee St. John has done it again. I just finished reading her second book and couldn't put it down. Her stories are hysterical and as a high school teacher I can relate to her actions and reactions in the classroom. I loved her stories about living and growing up in the South. Lee St. John has had a very full life. Reading her books is like sitting on the front porch sharing fun stories with a dear friend. I am looking forward to her next book. I highly recommend She's a Keeper-Anecdotes from a Southern Girl's Attic. It is a very quick book full of lively stories and lots of laughs.

Uh-Oh! Geriatrics???
I think my favorite story in Anecdotes by Lee St. John was "GERIATRIC RUN". She visited a nursing home and was surprised by the actions of a few "geriatrics". Well, she shouldn't have been surprised as we all know things can happen in that environment! Lots of great stories in this one!

Very poorly written and repetitive

Another Homerun!
Lee St. John's second book is as good as the first, if not better! The laughing, crying, and all around feel-good vibes are as ever present in her second book as they are in her first. As a (brand) new mom since her first book was released, I have a whole new perspective while reading some of her stories in her second book. Rubber Ducky particularly hit home - not that my daughter is eating solid foods yet, but what a totally smart idea! Not only am I getting some much-needed laughs during this emotionally up-and-down period of early motherhood, I'm getting some tips too! I highly recommend both of Lee St. John's books, and look forward to hopefully a third!
