Members Reviews:
Jackie is the BEST!
I always loved Jackie and the Stern Show. Now that I have a better understanding of what really happened, I respect Jackie as well. Not to mention he is truly a great guy who is very approachable and sincere. I had the pleasure of meeting him in 2004 at Les Pauls, Iridium Jazz Club. Hiya! Jackie still remembers me and go buy this great book!

not a bad read
it wasn't horrible it just wasn't what I expected. When I heard he was writing a tell-all book I thought we were going to get some behind-the-scenes Stern Show information. there was very little if any of that and this was more of a book based on the life of Jackie Martling. Again not a bad book just not what I expected

Warning; language may be inappropriate for morons
I found this book astounding, especially the use of big words. I didn't know Jackie knew them.
This book is a warm and honest retelling of his life story, an interesting one at that.
And you don't have to be a Howard Stern fan to enjoy it.

classic Jackie!
F Jackie! such a good listen! miss you Jackie! Stern show classic, baba fn booey

Waste of time, and I returned it...
Jackie, Jackie, Jackie... I think this is only the second time I've left a review on audible. Half way through this book I felt like I had a gun to my head with a voice telling me it was my civic duty as a retired Stern fan to inform the public of this mockery of a tell all.
Let me be clear, I very much enjoyed Jackie with his time spent on the Stern show, and as the years have passed, I've lost all respect for the PCMarci Turk years, and no longer even subscribe to Sirius (thank god for podcasts).
Jackie had a chance to really open up and and cast a light on Stern and inform fans about the bipolar, hypocritical, fascist dictator that once ruled the air ways.
Through out this entire book their are only TWO stories that remotely suggest Howard is chemically unbalanced in any way.
1) Howard used the delay button to remove a compliment Jackie gave Fred for writing the lyrics to the Elton John "Why isnt Howard Stern on TV?"
2) Howard didn't have his back during Jackies final contract negotiations.
THATS IT... the book is titled Bow to Stern! Yet it reads more like a fluff piece attempt of getting his job back some day opposed to a tell all.
If you listened to the Stern show during the Jackie years, you already know about 85% of what's in this book.
