It'll take you half the time to get from Bergamo to Lake Como than it would Stratford to the River Thames, but Giulia Ferrandi's mission to play in London wasn't halted by the love for her birthplace - nor did a cruciate ligament injury, which kept her out of action for several months and almost ended her career.
Giulia tells us about her journey to WSL2 and Watford from Atalanta, via Brescia, a 5 a side indoor team and Julian Dicks' West Ham.
