While the Manchester United Academy conveyor belt continues to produce elite talent, we focus on a player who was involved in the club's most successful period in youth and reserve level.
Ritchie Jones may be the perfect example of "right place, wrong time" as his playing time at Manchester United was limited due to signings such as Djemba-Djemba and Kleberson.
Nevertheless, Ritchie's ability didn't go unnoticed as he was snapped up by the likes of Paul Dickov and Peter Jackson.
Ironically, Ritchie's happiest period in his senior football career was at a club whose primary focus is on developing players, ready for the first team - that being FC Edmonton in Canada.
