Description

The New Jersey state Assembly recently passed a bill, 76-0, mandating schools to teach students from kindergarten through grade 12 how to interact with police.  The plan suggests this effort is to be done in the spirit of  "mutual cooperation and respect","

Is this a good idea or has the police state moving to the next level?  Dr. Walter Farrell, a Fellow of the National Education Policy Center (NEPC) at the University of Colorado-Boulder, explains how this advancing legislation conflicts with the communities these officers serve and how this bill passed without community input.
