Mind Therapy is brought to you by Dr Mary Miller, Clinical Psychologist. In this episode practice the skill of making space for feelings and sensations. When faced with unpleasant feelings we may try to avoid them or ignore them. While this may work in the short term we find in the long term this approach leaves us feeling exhausted and frustrated. Instead try making space for the feelings and accepting them as part of the experience of being a human. Once we can accept how we are feeling we can then choose how to respond.
