Description
Surf's up, beach lovers! We've got a gnarly forecast rolling in for the SoCal coastline this Tuesday. If you're looking to catch some waves, listen up!
Malibu and LA County beaches are serving up a moderate rip current risk today. Expect surf heights dancing between 2 to 4 feet with a mixed south and north swell combo. Water temps are sitting pretty at a comfortable 70 to 73 degrees. Perfect for board shorts and bikinis!
Ventura County's looking similar with those moderate rip current warnings. You'll see the same 2 to 4 foot waves, but with a slight temperature variation between 67 to 73 degrees. The tides are doing their daily dance with low points around 6:30 AM and highs hitting noon and midnight.
Heading up to Santa Barbara, things are a bit calmer. Rip current risk is low, with smaller 1 to 3 foot waves. Water's on the chillier side at 67 to 69 degrees, so maybe keep that wetsuit handy.
For our hardcore surfers up in San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Central Coast, you're looking at some serious swell! Waves are pumping between 3 to 6 feet today, dropping slightly to 3 to 5 feet tomorrow. Water's definitely wetsuit territory at a brisk 53 to 55 degrees.
No thunderstorms in sight, so conditions are looking clean. Remember to respect the ocean, watch those rip currents, and stay safe out there, wave riders! Catch you on the flip side!
