Tammy Cohen is the Owner of TC Brand Consulting, Founder of the Global Networking Group "Women Beyond the Table," and Owner of the restaurant Eighteen in the Upper East Side in NYC. She is also a mom to 3 grown sons! 

Our interview started with the impact the Pandemic had in NYC. She was struggling with the lockdown restrictions and violence in the streets. She lives in Manhattan and could hear glass shattering and looting and knew there would be no police response. It was intense. There was also uncertainty with the restaurant which switched to exclusive take out. It was all very unsettling. Around this time a colleague reached out to see how she was doing. 

He invited her to a 21 day Deepak Chopra Meditation group. She immediately joined and it gave her a bit of a reset.  She did the meditation series 3 times. It reconnected her to herself and got her to go inward. It was the beginning of a 2 year journey back to herself. During this time she diversified her clientele for her consulting business, founded her networking group, started reading a lot of self help books and participating in a lot of self help workshops. Her networking group had their first retreat this past month!

She became more grounded from the meditation and is working on mastering "presence" in her life. A lot of transformation took place over the course of the pandemic. We talked a lot about energy and how we attract what we are.  We are energy and consciousness and our energy is like a magnet for things in resonance to the frequency. Her new podcast is about to launch with Women Beyond the Table. So many things have changed as she has navigated her way forward.

Her Global Networking Group is evolving and growing rapidly with women around the world joining. The goal was to create a safe space for women to really connect and support each other and truly celebrate each other as they pursue their business and personal goals. She has attracted a beautiful group of women and looks forward to its expansion. 

We discussed her family and how she texts motivational things to her sons every single day. She wants them to know that whatever they are going through they are loved fully. She says life is like traveling a down a road and on that road are many curves and obstacles and it's sometimes a struggle to overcome them. No matter what she wants her sons to know they've got this and she's there for them. All these texts will be turned into a book to help parents connect to their children!
