In “The Case of the Volcano Mystery,” the trenchcoat twins head to the Gulf of Mexico to help some marshmallow miners with a monster problem, but — spoiler alert — as the title suggests, it’s not a monster at all, but a volcano. The dangers of volcanoes, tigers, and being alone in the jungle with three adult men has Chelsea bolting to her phone to call CPS while Donny dashes to his phone to check Grindr for the actor that plays the monstrously cute volcanologist. Then, Chelsea uses this time to audition for 'Last Comic Standing' while Donny alienates the volcanologists in the audience by judging their looks. Lastly, the hosts finally win the song game. Kind of. It’s the closest they’re going to get.
