In this episode, I discuss the magical community that comes courtesy of “friends of friends”, my wild ride to joining the Sons of Norway and how grandma Irene left a legacy there as well, and then how a fundraising effort through the NDCLC to support Turtle Mountain Animal Rescue led to me volunteering to manage the construction of their new facility. I also discuss a bike crash that reminded me that I am in a strange almost-uninsured purgatory and talk a little about COBRA benefits.
