Description

The next episode of The CAPB podcast features Karl Hinett, a veteran who had his career horrifically cut short when at only 18 years old, he suffered life changing injuries whilst deployed in Iraq.

What he has gone on to achieve is nothing short of superhuman !!! Completing every level of running event you can think off from marathons, to Ultras to the recently epic "Project Fire and Ice", an event that Karl planned to mark the 20 year anniversary of his injuries. He pulled together a team of high profile veterans to complete this 500km Artic Ultra marathon. (Brian Wood MC, Jason "Foxy" Fox, Aldo Kane)

Karl is one of the most humble and grounded guests we have been fortunate to have on the podcast.

When speaking about the famously challenging Marathon des Sables, a 6 day Ultra marathon through the desert he said "It wasn't that hard, I mean if a Ginger burns victim can do it, anyone can".

Karl is an inspiration to many, we hope you enjoy the episode.
