Logline:

A man continues trying to impress his girlfriend's intimidating father, leading to escalating pranks and mind games between them.

Episode Summary:

Troy claims David ran over his foot with a golf cart on purpose, but David denies it. When Lara threatens not to attend David's important work event unless he and Troy make amends, they half-heartedly apologize to each other.

Their prank war escalates, with Troy stealing David's phone and David lying that Troy was flirting with the bartender. After another failed apology session, a fed up Lara says she'll leave early without them.

David angrily tells Troy he'd never let him marry Lara, reducing Troy to tears. But David smooths things over, and a wary Troy ultimately attends the event. Though the power struggle persists, David shows glimpses of accepting Troy, who is determined to keep irritating his girlfriend's intimidating father.
