In this episode I chat with Katie Cotton who is Managing Director Recruit RE formerly of Ray White and has been a driving force behind strategic Recruitment, Recognition, and Retention initiatives that have strengthened the network. Katie has spent almost a decade inside real estate and another chunk of her career in tech, franchising and recruitment. She’s seen the industry evolve and she understands why so many agencies are struggling to hire and keep good people.
What I love most about Katie is that she doesn’t sugarcoat the challenges, but she also doesn’t accept that “this is just how it is.” She has a clear view of where recruitment is breaking down and what needs to shift if we want teams that are stable, aligned and actually happy to be where they work.
