To infinity and beyond: EU-UK space relations after Brexit
Description
When earthly relations have been tetchy, nations have seen space as a venue for cooperation - temporarily setting aside political issues for the sake of a greater purpose high in the sky. Should we expect the same from the EU and the UK?
The FT’s Clive Cookson will discuss the future of EU-UK space relations with two experts from both sides of the Channel, the director of the London Institute of Space Policy and Law Sa'id Mosteshar and Gabriele Redigonda from the European Space Policy Institute. We’ll also hear more about how the two blocs are cooperating on joint projects from the director of the Reading-based European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts Florence Rabier, while BryceTech’s Carissa Christensen will offer a trans-Atlantic perspective on the issue.
