Join us for this weeks outdoor report, featuring excellent fishing opportunities for trout and perch. On the Spokane River, trout are actively feeding on blue-winged olives, best caught with a six-X tippet and long leaders. Rock Lake offers good action for rainbow and brown trout, with Power Bait, small lures, and spinners proving effective. Lake Roosevelts trout bite is strong for fifteen to sixteen-inch fish, despite the slowly dropping water level. Moses Lake is the spot for perch, with the riprap bank under the I-ninety Bridge being particularly productive. Lastly, the razor clam digging season has begun, and recreational crab fishing is open daily through December thirty-first in many ocean areas.
