Tyreek left his mother's house on Wednesday morning, February 21, 2018. He was last seen on store video at the Fuel Express in Moncks Corner, South Carolina, at approximately 3PM.

The next day, at 12:51 in the morning, his car was found on fire on Cainhoy Road near Bramberg Circle in Charleston. Tyreek was not in the vehicle and has never been seen again.
