Lama Thekchen is a monastic in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition and one of the White Conch teachers in training. She joins us to talk about her presentation at the 2015 Parliament of The World’s Religions in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Thekchen holds a PhD with a major in nursing and a minor in psychology and teaches nursing online. She spends the majority of her time teaching the foundations of Buddhism, including a secularized program of Loving Kindness for nurses and other professionals who hold stressful jobs serving the public. Thekchen has also been certified in clinical aromatherapy and healing touch.
