On today's podcast we are talking about when your seeking help from the “experts” for solutions for your neurodiverse child, but not only do you joy receive them, you also realize they are clueless about autism, adhd, etc.
I had many clients leave their doctors office in tears, having gone and expecting to feel supported by their professional and instead been told there’s nothing they can do that would be helpful.
First of all, that’s not true. Second of all, the hurt and disappointment parents feel from this is real.
