Grammar of the Day
Here are three sentence structures you can use:
现在是 + season = It’s currently...
Example: 现在是夏天。It’s summer now.
我最喜欢 + season = I like ... the most
Example: 我最喜欢春天。I like spring the most.
Season + 的时候，我喜欢... = During..., I like to...
Example: 秋天的时候，我喜欢去公园。In autumn, I like to go to the park.
Simple Vocabulary
春天 – chūntiān – spring
夏天 – xiàtiān – summer
秋天 – qiūtiān – autumn/fall
冬天 – dōngtiān – winter
天气 – tiānqì – weather
冷 – lěng – cold
热 – rè – hot
舒服 – shūfu – comfortable
下雨 – xiàyǔ – to rain
- 下雪 – xiàxuě – to snow
Example Sentences
今天是晴天，天气很好。
Today is sunny. The weather is nice.夏天很热，我每天喝冰水。
It’s hot in summer. I drink ice water every day.冬天我喜欢喝热茶。
