Why do I still want my ex or abuser? Will I ever let them go?
Description
Welcome to Rooted Unlimited - Let's Heal Podcast with your host Colleena Carlisle. Let's heal trauma, break free from destructive habits, and become grounded, empowered, inspired, purpose-driven, transformed, and the best version of ourselves.
Episode Overview:
In today's episode, we will focus on why you or someone you may know still misses or desires the abuser or ex-partner. This is a normal process of healing after breakups or failed relationships. It is a normal phase of the grief process. However, this phase is often the phase where people can trick themselves into going back into their abusive situation. I dive into a few reasons why a person may desire and crave their past relationship and how they can navigate the phase to avoid going back or feeling shame and guilt for their emotions/feelings. This video can be a lot longer but I am doing my best to keep them short. Feel free to reach out if you have any comments or questions. Stay strong and continue in faith as you heal!
