In this episode, I sit down with the creative pioneer of street matchmaking and million-subscriber YouTuber, HeiNan.



From piano teacher and self-taught filmmaker to the streetwise Cupid behind viral dating videos, he has helped countless strangers find love—while enduring the heartbreak of losing his original channel. But through persistence and a deep understanding of what audiences want, he started over from zero and built a new channel that once again crossed the million-subscriber mark.



He doesn’t call himself a creative genius. What he is good at, he says, is observing:

“If something works, I’ll keep doing it—until it doesn’t. Then I find the next thing.”

His creative philosophy? Simplify everything. Then repeat, again and again.

It’s how he beats the algorithm—and beats life’s lows.
