Aloha Beloveds! Wow- what a wonderful Full Moon Conversation with my dear friend, mentor and Co Creator Joy Clarissa Taylor. You will love how honest, relatable and wise Joy is. Welcome to the first of my Wild Sacred Sexuality series. This guided meditation and breathing practice is called "Connecting Heart and Sex," and is directly from Sexual Awakening for Women: A Tantric Workbook by Dr Shakti Mari Malan. The the intention of this practice is to open and connect the receptive Sexual Feminine Energy of your Yoni, with the Unconditional Love of your Heart and Breasts. Then, allow these energy centers to nourish, support and amplify one another as you learn to cycle prana (life force energy) in your physical and energetic bodies.  This is an intimate recording, and includes some beautiful anatomical and metaphorical descriptions of a woman's body. You can benefit from this practice if you are biologically female and want to connect your physical and energetic Yoni and Breasts, and/ or if you want to connect with your inner feminine Yoni and Brest energies and the interplay between them (regardless of your biological sex or gender identification.) Make a nest for yourself. Ensure that your body is very comfortable, able to move and make noises, and not be interrupted before, during or after this practice (give yourself time to integrate and ground after, going outside in nature barefoot or swimming naked is ideal, or taking a bath, practicing gentle Yoga, or drinking a nourishing and grounding mug of Cacao). Trust your body. You cannot do this practice 'wrong.' This is a beautiful practice to do first thing in the morning to awaken the energies you want to receive and share, before making love with yourself or another person, or in the evening to wind down into a blissful sleep.   Please be aware that Wild Sacred Sexuality practices may (and probably will) awaken memories, emotions and energies that may have been frozen. This meditation focuses on our capactiy to respond, to become responible, in our lives. We begin with breath awareness and body scan. Then, using the metaphore of a rafting down a river, we explore how living from open hearted awareness enables us to respond to the inevitable whitewater and changes of life. This is a wonderful meditation to do during trying or difficult times in life, allowing you to find your center, the peace within, and respond to life's curcumstances with wise compassion.

With today's guided Meditation and Visualization you will enter into a space of deep relaxation and safety so you can learn from and release any fear that has you in it’s grips. This powerful practice helps you live in greater authentic alignment. There are a number of fears you may encounter on a daily basis. Without knowing it, you may be ruled by fear instead of leading with love. Fear can manifest in many forms. It leaves us feeling unsettled, agitated and worn out. These may be less tangible fears, such as the fear of speaking our truth, the fear of creating something new, or confronting something that feels overwhelming and painful. They may be more tangible fears, such as the fear of illness or loss. Fear will metastasis if you don’t shine the light of awareness and move through it. There are lessons to be learned from the fear. Beyond the fear, through the fear, there is greater space for love, connection, and creativity. I invite you to take this opportunity to listen within, connect to your internal guidance system. The wisdom that lives in your bones. The wild power within you. This is a powerful practice that can be used anytime you are experiencing stress, anxiety, or in a situation that has you feeling angry, frustrated, or not at ease in any way. This is a meditation and reflection that can be done in stillness, with a journal, or out on a walk. Take this practice and use it before you react to anything that has you feeling distressed. This will help you respond in a skillful way to whatever situation you are encountering. This will allow you to check in with yourself and process what is going on before you take rash action, or say things that lead to more conflict. This follows the acronym of BALANCE, and you can remember to use these tools in any situation. Honestly, if you just use the first one you will find greater peace. This powerful guided meditation cultivates embodied compassion. You will be guided through breath, body awareness and visualization to cultivate a strong back and a soft front. This is a grounding meditation to bring you into the present moment. The only moment that exists. It's very easy to future trip or to spiral back into the past. Especially during these uncertain times. It's the eve of the United States election. Tomorrow is November 3, 2020. There is a lot of anxiety and fear. It is incredibly important to return to the present, otherwise we risk panic and overreaction. Return to your calming grounded presence for yourself and those around you.  In this meditation, I will guide you into the present using the portal of the breath, the body, senses, and the energy centers.  Practices in this episode include: 1. Box breathing, which is inhaling for five holding for five exhaling for five and holding for five. This is a balancing breath. It can be used at any time to help your body and mind come back to equilibrium. It is the healthiest breath to use consistanly on throughout your daily activities. 2. A body scan bringing relaxation and groundedness into the body, which also calms the mind, from your head to your toes.  3. Awareness of the senses. 4. Insight awareness through the energy centers of the body starting with the third eye, down to your throat, heart center, solar plexus, dantian, pelvic floor and then up through the spine, to the crown of the head. This can be paired with circular breathing to help connect to the healing energy that surrounds you &  circulate healing energy throughout your body.  5. The final exercise is what I call 'popcorn breath,' which POPS you out of fear and anxiety.  Two short and full inhales, filling the lungs through your nose and a long exhale through your nose or your mouth.  Each of these exercises can be done individually as standalone practices to ground you in the present moment.  I hope that you find these helpful. Living on a planet going through intense change and breathing for long periods of time through a mask is a recipe for stress, anxiety and fear. There is little that is in your control. What is within your control is your breath and the sacred pause you take before you respond or react to anything. It is critical to cultivate spaciousness expansiveness through the breath on a daily basis so you can be healthy, whole and at peace. This Guided Breathing Meditation brings you into spacious expansiveness through deep connection with pranic life force, the breath. I lead you through 3 guided breathing techniques, supported by conscious belly and palm relaxation and rib cage expansion. About The breathing exercises: 1st: Box Breathing. This is a great breathing technique to help you come into homeostasis, back to balance. Inhale, hold, exhale, hold for equal counts of 4. WHEN TO USE THIS BREATH: Any time to come back into the present with calm and focus. The more you consciously breathe this way, the more likely it will become a natural and healthy default. 2nd: Popcorn breath. I call this popcorn, because you are “popping” open your alveoli with a quick double inhale (through the nose) followed by a long exhale (mouth or nose). This double inhale is similar to what happens to children when they have been crying for a long time, and they get that “sniff, sniff, sigh” after a tantrum. It is a way for your body to calm down the sympathetic nervous system (fight or flight) and to activate the parasympathetic nervous system (rest and digest).  WHEN TO USE THIS BREATH: Any time you are feeling anxious, rushed or nervous. Purposefully use this breath before you have a conversation about a difficult topic or have to stay present with something that causes anxiety. This is also a calming way to center yourself after a long day. 3rd: The big exhale. 4-7-10++++ Breath. The final exercise is Inhale for 4, hold for 7 and exhale audibly counting and then continuing to whisper 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1. This is a breath that cleanses your lungs of all stale air so that it can receive fresh oxygen.  WHEN TO USE THIS BREATH: Before or after exercise or movement to calm the body and nervous system down, while replenishing the body with vital breath. To fall asleep or get back to sleep if you wake up during the night. This breathing technique is also wonderful for soothing anxiety or an overactive mind. Setting an intention at the New Moon is a powerful practice that helps clarify what you want to plant, nourish and grow in the next few weeks, months or years in your life. This is a 10 min guided meditation, without music. I encourage you to carve out time before the meditation to prepare a safe, mindful and loving space for yourself. You may want to light candles and/ or create an altar for your intention. Journaling before and/ or after this meditation is also recommended, as many people have images or ideas that come to them during the new moon. When we make space for inspiration, it will often come and dance with our creativity. There is a lot of dynamic movement happening on the planet. Taking time to settle into stillness and be intentional with your life energy is one of the best things you can do to help be a part of loving change. This practice is best done on your back, in a comfortable position, with a bolster under your knees, pillow or towel supporting your head and neck, an eye pillow gently covering your eyes, and a blanket that makes your body feel safe.
