Something that I feel like doesn't get enough attention in this industry is the intersection between food quality and quantity. There are typically two major camps - the calorie counters & the clean eaters...tbh, I think they're both wrong. Tracking calories with no regard for where those calories come from is an approach that won't end with a great result but on that same note eating "clean" but indulging in too little or too many calories will also create chaos when it comes to physique or health outcomes. Not to mention, the mental health and relationship with food implications related to both ideologies.
