Week 5

I haven’t weighed myself yet and I’m actually petrified to! I’m worried that I will have only lost a small amount and that it will set me back! I previously lost 3st in 6 weeks on Exante and I am finding it difficult to shake of the lure of trying that again So my question is, how do you deal with stress eating? I have been doing amazing, I’ve lost 11lbs, I’ve got more energy, mentally I’ve felt great. But….I’ve really struggled since the weekend with lots of stress at home and I just turned to food. I’m terrified of going backwards. How do I mentally get through it? I feel like the fire I had right at the beginning is slipping and I want to get it back. Im turning 50 this year and half way through menopause (no bleed for 6 months, yuck soz) and im celebrating by going to Mexico in March, terrified about being mistaken for a whale. Now you have had the experience of losing weight on liquid diet, what are you views for others doing it? Is it worth a try to get things kick started before taking on all the good learnings I have from you and Charlie? Im struggling to track Kcals with things I cook which is pushing me towards more shop brought stuff with the info on it. Yet eating homecooked feels more nourishing, but I cant track things like stocks, gravy etc, any advice please? (and please don't take away gravy that is a human right in my opinion). 2) I had some couscous last night and put in chopped fresh herbs (coriander, mint and parsley) which got me thinking, do they count as plants in the sense of one of your 30 a week? Or would you have to eat a nose bag of the stuff for it to count? Final question, I promise, I'm not tracking liquid intake such as tea and coffee. I must consume a lot of milk due to this (tea is pretty much on intravenous drip) should I be?

Programme 1 - Week 3

I take vitamin D every morning during the winter months and tend to not take them in spring/summer, not sure why but there must be a reason? I started taking the bio-kult at the end of last year as I had to have a few courses if antibiotics. A friend recommended them because of this and I now take one a day? For the live too please?! After feeling really rubbish at Christmas after having several virus’ I decided to get these, I haven’t actually used it yet, wondered what your view was?! My aim is to try and get more of this in my daily meals but it’s not always possible so on those days should I have it?! When I cook the vegetables with the meat, I always think the vegetables no more low calories as it will take the fat from the meat, correct me if I’m wrong I have to admit though that Gut health is an area where there is a lot of mention of it but I struggle to know how best to tackle this (another meaning of life question?!) Like what would be a good way to tackle inflammation and leaky gut? Best nutrient goal when it comes to Nutricheck, and what percentage of calories should we get from each macronutrient I am addicted to salt and I have it on everything and a ridiculous amount of it and I can’t seem to eat without it. Finding it very hard to give up. And lots of other nonsense!

Week 2

Is organic an expensive swiss or worth the extra cost? Hi, am I wasting my money on Peptide collagen supplements and seaweed capsules? Best thing for constipation, eating habits changed and now having 1-2 portions of fruit and 2-3 veg I said I like butter on my toast (marg does not cut it for me, sorry) but is there a better option? I cook almost exclusively with Olive Oil, is there a better option (think you've mentioned this before, but cant remember) How to deal with the days when I feel really hungry and start eating like crazy and non stop till I feel sick ! and how to train my mind when I go out it’s just meal to eat like the one at home and it doesn’t mean to keep eating that day as of one meal out? how do you eat healthy but eat enough calories? If I’m doing 45 mins brisk walk every day - roughly 3-3.5km is this enough movement? I’m struggling with motivation to do the videos partly due to post covid tiredness but also because I don’t honestly like exercising I have a question about bread. I love it and goes great with soup. I have a belief though that bread is bad (if you are trying to slim down), is this a false belief please? I notice people talk about lo card etc are they better? Any types better than others with a weight loss goal? They say the Mediterranean and Japanese folk live longer because of their healthier diets is this a myth? and if not what is it about their diet? I know fruit and veg come into it but is it because they have less GM, pesticide loaded rubbish then us Brits or is it something else?
