Hey Listeners! I'm back for another week talking about the taboo topic of money and then a headline that had me shaking my head. Yes, one of the Real Housewives missed the mark on what body positivity is and what it stands for. I'm here to give perspective on where she went wrong with her statements (shared in the pod). Listen wherever you stream! @MrsLaurenElizabethJones | MrsLaurenElizabethJones.com
Hey Listeners! Life has so many to-dos, plans, and directions. In the last couple of weeks, I said I was done following a script. I turned a well-known challenge into my version. I couldn't follow the script - for all the right reasons. It's okay! If something isn't speaking to you the way it should, PIVOT! Life is too short to feel okay about what you're doing. It's too short to spend time not connecting to what you are committing to. I've been struggling for a bit now, and the clouds have finally parted. The self-love work I've been doing and banking paid off - as I could pull myself back to where I feel happy and energized again. Tune in to find out what I learned and how it can apply to things in your life. Put yourself first and love yourself inside out! @MrsLaurenElizabethJones | MrsLaurenElizabethJones.com
Hey Listeners! Kay Castro is on the pod! We laughed throughout the recording and covered a lot—her entrepreneurial career, balancing family life with everything else, and her journey with PCOS. She was an open book, getting real and raw about her struggles and triumphs. You'll learn how to listen to your body, make decisions that work for you, and how to succeed at what you set out to do. Plus, Kay provides a few freebie self-care beauty practices (for you!) that you can do at home with ingredients you might already have. She also shares what she does to practice self-love and how she found her way to putting herself first. @MrsLaurenElizabethJones | MrsLaurenElizabethJones.com Meet Kay! @heykaycastro | KayCastroBeauty.com Kay Castro is a Dallas-based makeup artist and creative entrepreneur. Hey Listeners! I'm excited for you to listen to the episode today! This episode is from the heart. I talk about something I'm struggling with. Just the last few days, I've realized that when I need support, I should lean in versus pulling away and continuing down the negative self-talk cycle. Plus, I discuss how cool it would be to live out Valentine's Day every single day! Think of self-love practices and actions you can take to share love and kindness with others. Tune in now to hear all the goodness. I have to share a little bit of a woo-woo story to share about the 444 in the title. Check out my reel on IG to find out why it's there. Hey Listeners! This podcast episode was inspired by Lauren Graham's book "In Conclusion, Don't Worry About It." If you haven't read her books yet, I strongly encourage you to do so. She is so full of life and zest and truly sparkles. Her energy is uplifting -- which is everything I want to have during the "year of me." She had the opportunity to give a commencement speech at her high school years after graduating, and this book started from the speech she was working on. I am so glad she published it because it is full of hope and acknowledges that you don't need to be perfect or follow a set plan. You can change course. It's okay if you haven't gotten your dream title or hit a milestone you set for yourself. The accomplishments you've had are enough - you are enough. Perfect isn't perfect. Amazing things are ahead. This pod discusses all that and how you can move and grow in the time ahead. Tune in now to get your weekly dose of positivity and confirmation that you are enough, just as you are. Welcome to 2024 - The Year of Me! Your year should be built to let you be your best self. You don't need a hundred resolutions to do things because others expect you to do them. Or to invest in ways that aren't aligned with your goals. I am committed to stepping back and focusing on the simple things that will allow me to live happily and healthily. I'm setting myself up for the years ahead and reinvest in me. I have no expectations other than to constantly be aligned with what I want, give myself grace when I know I won't be perfect at it, and find joy in what I'm doing. Are you ready to join me in the Year of Me? MrsLaurenElizabethJones.com@MrsLaurenElizabethJones
Welcome back to the Love Yourself Insideout Pod! This first episode of 2024 sets the tone for the year. Chock full of energy and defining ways to be genuine with intentions of how to live the year ahead. We dive into why setting intentions is an imperative first step. I share what my intentions are and how I plan to live by them. We also talk about how it's okay to get away from needing to have everything figured out at the start of the New Year. It's a lot of pressure to know your entire plan for 366 days by day one. Intentions should come naturally to you and be something you can invest in and live by. I'm living this year more authentically by leaning into myself, honoring my intentions, and celebrating a New Year, More You vs. New Year, New You. Join me on this journey to living one of the most empowered years yet - by making ripples of self-love and being the best you! @MrsLaurenElizabethJonesMrsLaurenElizabethJones.com

It's the holiday season, and I know of a gift you can give yourself and others that costs nothing. It's forgiveness. It's a gift that can positively change your life and the other person's. Forgiveness is deeply personal and can create vulnerability. It can be challenging when emotions are running high. It's something to take a look at for yourself. You can forgive the situation even if you never express it to the other person, which creates peace for yourself. In the episode, I talk through a recent interaction where I could give someone the gift of forgiveness and some thoughts about how you can get to a place for forgiveness for yourself. Tune in now! Next week on the podcast, I have a special guest who will give you the ultimate pep talk to kick 2024 off right! It's a can't-miss episode. @MrsLaurenElizabethJonesMrsLaurenElizabethJones.com

Hey Listeners! This is the last episode in the three-part series about my why. In the pod, I share all that has happened since therapy (so much goodness)! A lot has changed. I explain this more in the episode. It’s important to share because it has to do with my mental health journey, and we need to end the stigma around mental health. I hope someone listening can relate and realize they aren’t alone in their journey and that help is available if needed and when ready. No one solution works for everyone, and this is my story. It’s not meant to be applied to anyone else.Part 1: BackgroundPart 2: ActionPart 3: What’s NextThank you for listening!
Hey Listeners! Welcome to part 2 of the 3-part series on My Why. In this episode, I talk about my time in therapy, the EDMR treatment route I chose, and what happened during the sessions. I am not a therapist, nor am I trained in this. Please do your homework and research to decide what's right for you. This is my story of what happened to me. Please keep in mind we're all different -- so my experience may not happen to others. For me, the EMDR was literally magic (I dig into this more in the pod). Participating in therapy was hard work, and it required me to dig deep and sit in uncomfortableness. I decided I was ready to do whatever was needed and that the journey would be worthwhile. That was my mindset when I entered therapy, and I believe it's what gave me the power to push through. Check out this episode to hear about my therapy journey. @MrsLaurenElizabethJonesMrsLaurenElizabethJones.com

I'm bummed that I'm even giving space to an insecurity in my mind. Today, I discuss an insecurity I am currently dealing with and how to stop it. Hey Listeners! Have you ever struggled with imposter syndrome? Or thought about what someone else was up to, and then thought, why can't I do the same thing? Maybe you have felt jealous of someone else's progress on a goal you want to achieve. I've been there recently. When you have a goal but aren't sure where to start, it's easy to find someone doing what you want to do and think, why can't I have what they are having? They've seemed to crack the code or know the secret to getting whatever it is done. I've caught myself jumping into the black hole to gather every insight I can. Hoping I'll get the same results. Trust me, it doesn't work - ever. You are an individual and are wired differently than everyone else. I discuss all this and the one fail-safe way to ditch the imposter and jealous feelings. Tune in now! @MrsLaurenElizabethJonesMrsLaurenElizabethJones.com
Hey Listeners! Speaking your truth might keep you stuck when you're in a rut. It might take someone else, a cheerleader, to move you to the next level. In this episode, you'll hear about how my CrossFit journey has challenged me and is a living example of how a cheerleader (in this case, my coach) helped me change my narrative. I was speaking my truth and was giving myself the perfect justification for not changing. Hearing positivity and new words to identify with has pulled me out of my rut. Your self-love work plays perfectly into this - it's game-changing! If you're feeling stuck or have ever felt stuck - tune in now! @MrsLaurenElizabethJonesMrsLaurenElizabethJones.com
