How is your inner voice? Are you hard on yourself?


Trust me friend, I am hard on myself just like you are. When something doesn’t go my way, I often think of how it was my fault or all the things I should have done to make it better.


Self compassion is something that we have to work intentionally on, because most of the time we aren’t taught this in childhood.


Self-compassion is extending compassion to one's self in instances of perceived inadequacy, failure, or general suffering. Kristin Neff has defined self-compassion as being composed of three main elements – self-kindness, common humanity, and mindfulness.
