1.     Companies that are winning in the talent war are following these steps: 

• For candidates with less than 5 year’s experience: 1 Phone interview + 1 Zoom or Onsite interview 
• For candidates with 5-10 year’s experience: 1 Phone Interview + 2 Onsite or Virtual meetings, for example one with the Hiring Manager and one with the Team 
• For Executive Level candidates: 1 Phone Interview and No more than 4 in-person interviews 

2.     Showcasing employer branding and culture is so important in the hiring process. 

3.     Look at the candidate's resume before you meet with them, prepare some interview questions in advance, and be present. Show them you are invested in their hiring process. 

4.     When it comes to employer brand, candidates are looking at company culture, compensation, and flexibility. 

5. Skills-based hiring is when the skills are weighted very heavily. Depending on the role, skills can typically be learned more easily than the softer skills which are better for long-term fit. 

6.     Having an online presence with regular content creation is a good way to communicate the employer brand and highlight culture.
