#13 - Freya Bennett on her Inclusive Platform Ramona Mag, Living With Anxiety and Why Representation Matters
Description
Charging up the show this week on A Woman Charged Podcast...
Ramona helps women, trans and non binary folks to feel worthy, creative and empowered so they can follow their dreams, stand up for themselves and feel held by our community. Indeed Community is absolutely the word of this podcast and Freya Bennett is the Co-Founder and Director of the inclusive and positive Ramona platform and community.
Freya is a writer and illustrator from Naarm who loves dreary grey days, libraries and coffee.
She focuses on period care and awareness, documenting her journey living with anxiety, also her breast reduction journey from cup size HH to a D cup all the while dealing with a little human running around at her feet, breastfeeding and all during the long lockdowns that Victoria experienced.
During this epiosde, Freya opens up about her ongoing experiences with anxiety and how she manages that in daily life and business. She gives listeners tips for self care and really advocates to reconsider many of the selfcare practices we have been led to believe as luxurious, and reframe them as every day essentials, not one-offs.
Representation matters! Women of all ages, colours, sizes and sex. Go Ramona! So listen in, get to know Freya Bennett, stay on top of your mental health and self-care routines this week - masturbate, get a quick 20 or 30 minute massage, look in the mirror in the nude, and give a little wiggle and a smile at how much you love yourself...
and of course - stay charged!
