Happy New Year everyone! In this week's podcast, I start off with the importance of setting goals and writing the habits that you need to form throughout the year to ensure you reach your goals. Make sure to write your goals and habits somewhere and that you look at them at least once a month!

Later in the podcast, I talk about a success story of someone who reduced her A1c from 5.8 to 5.2 to successfully reverse prediabetes, yay!

Here are some of the actions she took to reverse prediabetes:

  • Strength training
  • Increased walking
  • Pairing carbs with fat, fiber, and/or protein
  • Conscious of carb and sugar intake
  • Reduced processed foods and snacking

You can reduce prediabetes with some pretty simple changes to your lifestyle. Stick to these changes and stay consistent and you'll see an amazing change!
