Description

The International People's Democratic Uhuru Movement (InPDUM) is proud to announce that we will begin broadcasting our internet TV/radio show "African Resistance Now" every week!
On Wed, Dec 7 President Diop will lead a discussion entitled "How To Keep Agents and Provaceteurs Out of the Movement". We are in a time when imperialism is suffering a deep economic and political crisis throughout the world. Everyday we hear more about the crisis - mass rebellions against neo-colonial governments in the Middle East, the collapse of the euro and European banking system, Occupy Wall Street and the increasing resistance of African youth throughout the U.S.
In response to this crisis the U.S. imperialist state is becoming more and more aggressive in its attacks on the anti-imperialist movement. The police raids of the Occupy encampments throughout the county is just the tip of the iceberg. History has shown that the State deals with organized African resistance with even more violence. The U.S. counterinsurgency of the Black Power Revolution of the 1960s is the most recent and glaring example. We must study the past as well as build tactics and strategies to deal with the future.
The Uhuru Movement, under the leadership of Chairman Omali Yeshitela, has solved many problems of security for our movement. Our ability to survive the counterinsurgency of the 1960's is evidence of this fact.
In the upcoming episode of African Resistance Now InPDUM convey our understanding of how to deal with the counterinsurgency (agents, provaceteurs, police raids, arrests etc).
The discussion will include the reading of "What is Criticism and Self Criticism?" based on an excerpt from the organizing manual of the African People's Socialist Party. We will also include discussion of the famous essay by Mao Tse Tung entitled "Combat Liberalism".
If you have any interest in building organization or being an activist in your community you dont want to miss this show!
Broadcast live from Black and Nobel Bookstore in the heart of North Philly, ARN will cover current events effecting the African community and our struggle for self determination. We will also conduct political education presentations for the community. The political education, led by InPDUM's President Diop Olugbala, are designed to arm the masses in Philly and worlwide with an understanding of the art and science of revolutionary struggle.
Tune in on Wed, Dec 7 at 7PM by going to inpdum.org.
You can listen live on uhururadio.com
If you are in Philly come out and be a part of the live studio audience! The show is broadcast at Black and Nobel Bookstore - located at 1409 W. Erie Ave (Broad and Erie).
