Although the public housing system is put forth by the government as some type of welfare being provided for Black people the reality is that the U.S. government has lived off the welfare of the same people it holds captive in the projects.
It is not a coincidence that men are not allowed to live with their wives and children under public housing policy.
It is not a coincidence that, under the "one strike law", a family will be evicted from their homes if one of its members is ACCUSED (not convicted) of a felony charge.
It is not a coincidence that African people are treated like less than humans by the U.S. (and European) public housing system.
