K1 Why did Jesus "set His face toward Jerusalem" (v. 51), even knowing rejection awaited Him? How does this reveal His kingship and purpose? What can we learn from His determination?

G1 Why do you think the Samaritans rejected Jesus (v. 53)? What does this “no” to Jesus reveal about cultural, political, or spiritual tensions — and how might we encounter similar rejections today?
